When Biden says “Made in America,” it turns out he didn’t mean by American companies.
New reporting from The Washington Free Beacon revealed that the Biden administration gave a $200 million grant to a lithium battery company that primarily operates out of China. Biden’s Department of Energy even absurdly bragged that the grant would “ensure our clean energy future is American-made.”
The company itself admits the Communist Chinese Party “exerts substantial influence over the manner in which we must conduct our business activities and may intervene, at any time and with no notice.” Per the report, the company is “on track to be delisted from NASDAQ for failing to comply with U.S. auditing requirements.”
What a contrast to Republicans in Congress, who actually care about protecting American energy security. Sen. John Barrasso, the ranking Republican on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, is launching an investigation into the grant, and the incoming-House Republican majority is set to establish a China Select Committee to combat “cyber, trade, and military threats against America.”
Under a Republican majority, I will establish a China Select Committee to expose and fight against the Chinese Communist Party's cyber, trade, and military threats against America.

@RepGallagher is exceptionally qualified and is the right person to serve as the chairman.
Republicans want to unleash American energy and combat CCP threats. Biden wants to send your money to CCP-influenced companies. The contrast could not be clearer.
