Biden brags as the lights go off

The White House keeps bizarrely bragging about gas prices. If you were to test the most out-of-touch message heading into these midterms, this would be it.

Translation: American families have been paying the Biden Gas Hike for an extremely long time. A gallon of gas costs $3.78 today, close to $1.40 more than when Biden took office. And let’s not forget what Biden said when a gallon of gas cost $3.42 in November 2021: “Did you ever think you'd be paying this much for a gallon of gas?”

And it’s not just gas. Biden has created an energy crisis:

• A gallon of diesel costs $5.31, close to $2.20 more per gallon than when Biden took office.
• Experts warn of a diesel shortage in Maryland, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
• Home heating oil shortages are looming, threatening families in the Northeast.
• Heating costs are expected to reach their highest point in at least 25 years.
  • Heating oil and natural gas are set to rise 27% and 28% respectively this winter.
• Electricity costs have increased at the fastest pace in decades in recent months.

A tax credit on “an efficient coffee machine” won’t keep the lights on or houses warm. These are the impacts of Biden and the Democrats’ war on American energy. Voters will hold them accountable on November 8.
