On schools, Joe Biden is putting special interest groups ahead of America’s children.
Biden repeatedly campaigned with American Federation of Teachers boss Randi Weingarten, who is leading the anti-science charge to keep America’s schools closed. Now that Biden is president, he has refused to call out the group.
School districts around the country have already spent millions on coronavirus precautions, the science says schools can safely reopen, and 80% of teachers, school staff, and childcare workers have been or have appointments to be vaccinated, but that’s not good enough for Weingarten. She is actively rejecting CDC guidance on schools, even though the science shows that keeping schools closed has devastating effects on the mental health, social and economic situation, and academic achievement of children.
As working parents struggle to get by, Weingarten, the personification of hypocrisy, crisscrosses the country in a private plane.

As she insists that in-person schooling is too dangerous, she holds in-person meeting, after in-person meeting, after in-person meeting, after in-person meeting, after in-person meeting, after in-person meeting. How do we know? She brags about it on twitter.
If Weingarten can attend in-person meetings, why can’t America’s children safely learn in the classroom? The answer: They actually can.
More importantly, where is Biden as one of his closest political allies conducts a public campaign targeting the wellbeing of America’s families? Why is he refusing to stand up to Democrat special interest groups and stand for America’s children?
Biden claims he wants to follow the science, but instead, he’s caving to Democrat special interest groups, at the expense of children and families across America.
