Joe Biden called the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal an “extraordinary success.” He laughed about his failures and insisted he had no regrets.
To Americans witnessing the deadly chaos, Biden’s claims were obviously and patently false at the time.
Today, with the House Republican majority, accountability is finally here as the House Foreign Affairs Committee held a hearing on the withdrawal. It’s accountability that servicemembers, their families, and the American people deserve.

It also comes as a new watchdog report shows the scale of the weaponry Biden left behind to the Taliban, including aircraft, air-to-ground munitions, vehicles, weapons, and surveillance, communications, and biometric equipment.
Democrats gave Biden a pass and let down the American people. Those days are over.
