Has Joe Biden forgotten that Israel is one of our greatest allies? Based on his actions as president, he can’t seem to tell America’s friends from America’s foes.
At the same time his administration is working to lift sanctions on Iran and bragging about extending money to Hamas-controlled Gaza, the Biden administration has purposefully muted their response as Hamas attacks Israel. They claim it’s “quiet” diplomacy.
In reality, the administration is “quiet” because they are refusing to stand by Israel. In just the past few days, Press Secretary Jen Psaki has:
Earlier this afternoon, Biden even praised radical anti-Israel Rep. Rashida Tlaib, saying “I admire” Tlaib and thanked her for being a “fighter.” This comes just days after she espoused the anti-Semitic BDS Movement as Israel was under attack.
Astonishingly, the Biden administration is now abandoning the historic progress towards peace the Trump administration achieved. Psaki said the Biden administration is “not following the same tactics,” claiming, “we don’t think they did anything constructive, really, to bring an end to the long-standing conflict in the Middle East.”
For comparison, this is what Biden thinks is not “constructive.”
And these are the results of Biden’s tried-and-failed Iran-coddling “quiet” diplomacy “tactics.”
Maybe Biden should take a page from Trump’s playbook. As president, Biden should be an ardent and outspoken supporter of Israel. He is proving he is not.
