Biden Chips Away At The 2nd Amendment

On Wednesday, while discussing the surge in gun crimes on his watch, Biden said “the people who are in fact are using those weapons are acquiring them illegally, illegally.”

But what’s Biden’s plan to deal with criminals who ILLEGALLY own guns? To target LAW-ABIDING gun owners.

Biden’s radical ATF nominee David Chipman offers the proof. Chipman has said the most popular rifle in America should be regulated “just like machine guns” and has pushed for national gun regulations to override state laws. But ask him a simple question, like how he defines the guns he wants to ban, and he has no answer.

But who cares about facts when you have Chipman’s zeal? He seems bent on carrying out Biden’s campaign promise to, “bingo,” go after legal gun owners, people Chipman has repeatedly insulted and demeaned. Chipman:

  • Likened first-time gun owners to doomsday preppers and “Tiger King.”
  • Compared gun owners to people who “want a muscle car” so they can have “outsized power.”
  • Demeaned gun owners as people who are “afraid” and want to “feel safe.”

It’s only the beginning of a long history of partisan comments and misstatements about the firearms he wants to regulate.

Chipman is wrong for the ATF and an insult to law-abiding gun owners across the country.
