What’s Joe Biden’s plan to evacuate Americans? Cave to terrorists.
Estimates say thousands of Americans remain in Afghanistan with up to 1,000 Americans currently unaccounted for. (Why did the Biden administration not get an accurate count beforehand?)
As Secretary of State Antony Blinken conceded, Biden’s plan to get the remaining Americans out of Afghanistan depends entirely on the word of the Taliban. Promises the terrorist organization is already breaking.
Americans are increasingly blocked from the airport as the situation deteriorates. Sources say evacuating the remaining Americans still in Afghanistan will be harder than ever. As Politico reports:
“Tens of thousands of Afghans awaiting U.S. visas and thousands of American citizens are still stuck in Kabul, unable to find safe passage through frantic crowds, Taliban checkpoints and Afghan guards stationed outside the airport… American officials have repeatedly had to close the gates for extended periods, leading guards to turn away even U.S. passport holders…American citizens are routinely being turned away by Afghan guards at the airport despite showing U.S. passports, according to five sources familiar with the situation. In one instance, a guard told a group to leave the area or he would shoot them.”
Three sources tell me and @AlexThomp that the Taliban has now started halting people trying to get in through the airport gates. Not just Afghans but American citizens. Informal groups coordinating need to redirect people on the fly.

How does Biden react? Letting the Taliban dictate the timeline while he begins the process of pulling out troops from the Kabul airport.
Biden is abandoning Americans. He needs to commit that the U.S. will not leave Afghanistan until every American Biden trapped behind enemy lines has been safely evacuated. Anything less is a dereliction of duty.
