Today, the Biden administration began its long-awaited crackdown on — *checks notes* — incandescent light bulbs.
It’s the latest casualty of Biden’s unhealthy obsession with “accelerat[ing] our progress toward net-zero carbon emissions.”
Now, Americans’ only options are LED bulbs, which are significantly shorter-lasting and more expensive than traditional bulbs. This creates a problem in low-income communities, where LED bulbs are “more expensive and less available.” And, to be as punitive as possible, manufacturers face fines of $542 PER ILLICIT BULB for noncompliance.
The ban comes on the heels of Biden’s attempts at regulating gas stoves, water heaters, dishwashers, washing machines, air conditioners, and other household appliances.
Americans want lower prices, higher wages, a stable economy, and energy independence; they got Biden’s light bulb ban instead.
