In August 2021, the Democrat mayor of Laredo, Texas, Pete Saenz, described the crisis facing his community because of Joe Biden’s border policies: “Border Patrol is overwhelmed…they’re bussing migrants to our city....we can’t handle it here.”

For months, Mayor Saenz pleaded for help from the Biden administration. He described how “it’s just getting worse,” and when Biden ignored him, he asked, “Does [Biden] want the border to exist?” There’s no question where Saenz placed the blame for the crisis, Joe Biden: “We need to truly secure the border. It was working under Trump.”
But Biden, Kamala Harris, and Senate Democrats didn’t care. They still don’t care about communities like Laredo, only Martha’s Vineyard and Rehoboth Beach. Voters will remember in November.
