Yesterday, the White House said Joe Biden still has confidence in his FDA Commissioner Robert Califf.
Q: Does Biden have confidence in the FDA’s ability to deal with situations like the formula shortage? And does he still have confidence in his FDA commissioner?

This is the same FDA commissioner who blamed the mail room for his agency’s slow response to a whistleblower report on baby formula, who can’t give a straight answer on when the crisis will end, and who says he told the White House about the crisis in February (Biden did not make his first comments on it until May).
No one was fired for wrongly claiming inflation was temporary. No one was fired after the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal. No one was fired as the border crisis only gets worse.
This is the United States of America, and mothers are waiting on tarmacs for baby formula. Ultimately, this is Biden’s failure. He campaigned on taking responsibility – he has done anything but.
