Joe Biden’s late-night Friday interview on MSNBC made one thing clear: He is having a hard time making an argument for his reelection.
Besides repeating a debunked lie about the debt, laughing at the idea of negotiating, defending Biden-family influence peddling, and obfuscating on the border crisis, Biden’s argument basically boiled down to, his approval numbers are low because “everything is negative,” and he “know[s] more than the vast majority of people.”

Ironically, “everything is negative” is actually an argument against his reelection.
On Sunday, the American people gave Biden a reality check in a new ABC News-Washington Post poll showing Biden’s approval rating at a record low for any president at this point in their term. The poll also showed that a majority of Democrats don’t want him as their nominee.

Biden is struggling to make an argument for his reelection because his record is a disaster. Americans don’t want him to “finish the job.”
