Biden fumbling, bumbling, and lying

Joe Biden fumbled, bumbled, and lied his way through his CNN town hall last night.

A few lowlights:

1. Biden admitted his policies “have kept people from going back to work,” and then condescendingly told a small business owner to pay more to compete with the federal government if he wants workers. So says a man who has never run a business in his life.

 

2. Biden refused to give credit to Donald Trump and Republicans for Operation Warp Speed. We are still waiting for Biden to apologize for spreading misinformation about vaccines when their development did not suit him politically during the campaign.

3. He conceded that prices are rising, but at the same time tried to downplay his hidden tax, repeating his false claim that “no serious economist” is concerned about rising prices. He should talk to Obama economists Larry Summers and Jason Furman, who have been sounding alarms. And if that doesn’t convince him, he should head back to Scranton, Pennsylvania, where people told CNN rising prices are the “worst it’s been in a long time.”

 

4. He lied repeatedly about the border, defund the police, and commonsense voter integrity measures.

  • Illegal border crossings were at a 21-year high in June.
  • 78% of Americans support commonsense integrity measures like voter ID.
  • If Biden really stood with law enforcement, he would condemn Democrat-run cities like Oakland for defunding millions from police. But so far, he has been completely silent.

5. In true Biden fashion, whole segments of his town hall were nearly incomprehensible, as he frequently lost his train of thought amid his aimless and pointless rambling.

I truly envy those that weren’t forced to sit through that mind-numbing hour-plus town hall. To quote the movie Billy Madison, “At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.”
