Every time Joe Biden makes an announcement on foreign policy, Americans should be very nervous.
Why? Because he gets it wrong almost every single time. Just ask Obama’s former Defense Secretary Robert Gates, who said Biden has been “wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”
If Biden’s Iraq announcement today feels like déjà vu, it’s because it is. The Obama-Biden administration botched the withdrawal that led to the rise of ISIS in the first place. Back in 2010, Biden claimed the administration’s Iraq policy “could be one of the great achievements” and promised a “stable government in Iraq.”
But by the end of his time in office, ISIS had invaded huge swaths of Iraq and Syria. It took months for Obama and Biden to even develop a strategy to counter ISIS, a failure that cost American lives.
Biden is bringing that same, disastrous mismanagement to the presidency:
And Biden claims foreign policy is his “expertise”… His only “expertise” is mismanagement, poor judgement, and failure. Mistakes he repeats again and again.
