Anthony Fauci hit the Sunday shows yesterday and made one thing perfectly clear: Getting to the bottom of COVID’s origins is not a priority for the Biden administration. In fact, Fauci – who Biden once called the “president” – DEFENDED China.

COVID is such a low priority for Biden, the administration didn’t even bother to mention it in prepared statements about Biden’s recent meeting with Xi Jinping. Per the New York Post:
Biden mentioned neither [COVID’s origins or fentanyl exports] in brief public remarks with Xi in Bali, Indonesia. The topics didn’t come up at a subsequent press conference or appear in a White House statement that listed more than a dozen other issues discussed by the leaders, including climate change, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the persecution of Uyghurs in China’s Xinjiang province.
This is the latest from a president who promised to get to the bottom of COVID’s origins but has failed to even articulate a plan on how he’d get that done.
China’s draconian lockdowns and Fauci’s openness to more American lockdowns show that this issue is a pressing one – but clearly it isn’t for Biden. How can you prevent the next pandemic if you are too afraid to demand answers on how this one started?
Thankfully, we’ll soon have a Republican majority in the House that does care about preventing the next pandemic and holding China accountable.
