Biden has Xi's back

Rapid Response

Joe Biden likes to brag about how much time he has spent with brutal communist dictator Xi Jinping. He even told reporters his recent call with Xi lasted for two hours.

Yet in all that time, he never thought to fulfill a fundamental campaign promise – to confront the communist regime on COVID-19’s origins.

Shot: As a candidate, Biden promised that if elected president, he “would not be taking China’s word for it” and that he would confront China on “how [COVID-19] started, where it’s from.”

Chaser: 2 ½ months into his presidency, Biden confirmed he still had not confronted the Chinese Communist Party’s leaders on the origins of COVID-19 and for misleading the world about the virus.

Double Chaser: Just yesterday, Biden’s Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed that if Biden confronted Xi on COVID’s origins, he would be “leaping ahead of an actual international process.”

An international process? The same one that continually caved to China and insisted as late as January 2020 that there were no cases of human-to-human transmission? That *definitely* sounds like a good idea.

This astonishing abdication of leadership comes after The Wall Street Journal reported additional evidence which indicates COVID-19 may have leaked from a lab in Wuhan.

Americans deserve answers. This is not the time for Biden’s lackadaisical approach or for his dismissal of the CCP’s human rights abuses or Xi’s dictatorship.  We need a president more concerned with finding out the truth about COVID-19 than obsessively lying about how many miles he has traveled with a communist dictator.

It’s time for Biden to have America’s back, not the back of his best buddy Xi.
