That was a lie then, and two years later Joe Biden is sending active duty troops to the border as the crisis rages:

As Gov. Greg Abbott pointed out, he’s sending these troops “primarily to do paperwork…and only for 90 days.” That’s a band-aid on the crisis, not a solution. Biden’s policies have tied the hands of immigration law enforcement, essentially turning organizations like ICE into an “unofficial travel coordination agency.” If Biden wants to end this crisis, he needs to secure the border, enforce the law, and reverse the policies he put in place that started this crisis in the first place.
