It is difficult to keep track of the lies Joe Biden has told over his five-decade political career.
Fortunately, the internet exists.
The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability is out with 16 times Biden lied about various aspects of his family’s business schemes — that he never talked business with his son, Hunter, that his family wasn’t paid money from foreign entities, including China, that Hunter’s business deals were ethical, and that Hunter did nothing wrong.
We’ve known these were lies for years. We knew Joe Biden himself met with Hunter’s business associates on at least 16 different occasions amid their 80+ White House visits. We knew Hunter put then-VP Joe Biden on speakerphone on at least two dozen occasions during meetings with foreign business associates, according to sworn testimony from Hunter’s former business partner and best friend. We knew bank records indicate the Bidens were paid millions of dollars by foreign entities. And we knew emails, texts, photos, visitor logs, a voicemail, and firsthand accounts corroborate the allegations of influence peddling and corruption.
But combined with the Oversight Committee’s investigation and findings, they paint a dark picture of a powerful, corrupt political family selling themselves to the highest bidder — with Joe Biden at the very top.
Taken together, Joe Biden did, in fact, lie — repeatedly — when he said he never spoke to his son, Hunter, about his business dealings.
The evidence is verifiable and voluminous — Joe Biden lied.
