Biden Needs A Science Class

One year ago today, Jen Psaki absurdly claimed we did not have the “data” to know if virtual learning was worse than in-person learning.

The data is clear on the “crushing” harms of prolonged school closures on kids’ mental health. But the Biden administration still won’t rule out more closures.

It makes sense when you consider the Biden administration has denied the science on virtually every decision affecting kids:

• Biden has repeatedly pushed forced masking policies in schools – even attacking Republican-led states that banned mask mandates for young children.
• As Democrats ripped every semblance of normalcy from kids – forcing them to eat outdoors, isolating them, and shaming them – Biden was silent.
• During the campaign, Biden and Kamala Harris pushed vaccine misinformation, suggesting they wouldn’t take a vaccine developed under President Trump. When Biden took office, his tune changed.

Biden doesn’t follow science. He Is beholden to the powerful special interests who fund Democrats’ campaigns – and while they’re clinging to the mandates, so is Biden.

Biden’s failure to lead comes at the expense of a generation of kids, and that will be his legacy.
