If you thought Joe Biden wouldn’t praise Andrew Cuomo today … you’re wrong.
In fact, he offered the same praise of Andrew Cuomo today during his press conference as he did in April 2020 during the campaign.
In April 2020: “Your governor in New York has done one hell of a job. I think he’s sort of the gold standard.”

Biden claimed he was separating what he called Cuomo’s “personal behavior.” That “behavior” was described better by the New York Attorney General, “Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and in doing so violated federal and state law.”
But also think about what we have learned about Cuomo’s disastrous pandemic response since April 2020. Cuomo issued disastrous nursing home orders, the New York Attorney General found that New York “severely undercounted” nursing home deaths, and there is documented evidence of a coverup. Meanwhile, he tried to make millions for himself off the pandemic.
This is what Biden thinks is a “hell of a job”? Shameful. Biden should apologize to Cuomo’s victims, both of his sexual harassment and of his terrible policies that led to needless deaths.
