Later today, Joe Biden is returning to the scene of the crime – his garage in Wilmington, Delaware – as he approaches his 285th day of vacation. One can only guess at the classified documents he’ll soon “discover” in his Wilmington home.
At the very least, he’ll have some time to dream up new excuses for why he was so “irresponsible” with classified material. He needs new ones because his latest – blaming the movers – just isn’t cutting it.
For one, the classified documents were moved at least twice. His office at the Biden Center didn’t open until 2018, a full year after he left the vice presidency.
Where were the documents before then? Are we expected to believe movers or staff marked a folder as “personal” and stuffed it with classified documents? Who had access? Why were they there? Basic questions. Time for answers.
