The Biden administration called pipelines the “best way” to transport fuel…but it turns out they only meant Russian pipelines.
The contrast is stunning.
On day 1 of his presidency, Biden put the livelihoods of thousands of Americans on the chopping block, canceling the Keystone XL pipeline and killing 11,000 jobs. Reminder, this project would have net-zero carbon emissions.
Now almost 4 months later, Biden freely handed Vladimir Putin a major strategic win by waiving sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
The Biden administration itself has conceded that the Nord Stream 2 pipeline “threatens European energy security and that of Ukraine and eastern flank NATO allies and partners.” But that hasn’t stopped Biden from putting Russian interests first.
Turns out in Biden’s America, if you want a job working on a pipeline, you need to move to Russia.
