Biden should resign

Joe Biden’s speech was shameful.

This is one of the defining images of his presidency – running from accountability and refusing questions as Americans suffer because of him.

Far from taking responsibility for his failures, Biden lied again. He insisted his withdrawal was an “extraordinary success” despite the death of 13 U.S. service members and conceding that he stranded hundreds of Americans in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan.

And what of his past promises he broke?

• He promised he would safely evacuate all Americans from Afghanistan before leaving. He lied. Today, he even tried to blame the Americans trapped in Afghanistan, although reports indicate the Taliban blocked many from the airport even as Biden still insists they had safe passage.
• He promised a safe and orderly withdrawal. He lied, and now insists a chaotic withdrawal was inevitable.

Biden has abandoned Americans. He has failed the fundamental duties of the presidency. He is unfit to serve and should resign.
