If the preview given by Team Biden on the morning shows today is any indicator, Biden’s speech tonight is going to be ROUGH.
So far, his plan seems to be:
- Lying about wages – Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed “we’ve seen record wages go up” when in reality real wages have plummeted.
- Lying about gas prices – Jean-Pierre bizarrely said that gas prices are down when gas prices have been more expensive every day of Biden’s tenure than when he took office.
- Lying about the Chinese Communist Party spy balloon – Kate Bedingfield absurdly insisted Biden “handled it effectively and with strength” by letting it cross almost the entire country.
- Lying about the debt limit – Jean-Pierre flat out lied by claiming Republicans want to cut Social Security after Speaker Kevin McCarthy took cuts “off the table.”
Those are the false claims from just this morning. Biden needs to lie because he has nothing to stand on. Since he took office, real wages, savings, and incomes are all down.
