Biden: The drug smugglers' president

Rapid Response

Biden’s open borders agenda is a gift to drug smugglers.

According to reporting from ABC News, “Customs and Border Protection seized more fentanyl so far in 2021 than all of 2020. As of April, 6,494 pounds of fentanyl were seized by authorities at the border, compared to 4,776 pounds in all of 2020”

Dr. Darien Sutton, an emergency medicine physician, put that number in perspective: “When you talk about that amount, how many communities and people that will affect and how many deaths that will be associated with (more than 6,000 pounds of fentanyl) you can't even comprehend it just because it's not fathomable”

The result: law enforcement from around the country are reporting large spikes in fentanyl seizures, overdoses, drug-trafficking, and connected criminal activity.

As these narcotics ravage American communities, up to 1,500 illegal immigrants are escaping into the U.S. unpursued every day.

Now, Biden is doubling down on catch-and-release to the point where some border patrol agents refer to him as “Let ‘Em Go Joe.” Even border state Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar slammed Biden’s policy: “To just release people into the U.S. and wait for court hearings and all that, all it does is provide more incentive to the criminal organizations.”

Biden’s open borders agenda is dangerous. It aids and abets drug smugglers to the harm of Americans all over the country.
