Honestly, we had trouble deciding whether to go with a “Rocket Man” or “You’re Welcome” pun when seeing the Biden administration’s statement on inflation – they are either “high as a kite” or truly arrogant and out-of-touch.
Today’s inflation report showed an “unrelenting increase in prices” that is “broad based…pretty much everywhere.” But astonishingly, Biden seems to want us to thank him for gas prices that are over $2 more per gallon than when he took office, 9.1% inflation, and real wages declining 3.6% from last year.
To that arrogance, Rep. Virginia Foxx may have had the best response: “9.1%. End of quote. Repeat the line.”
