Biden’s nonsensical energy arguments have a new target – the principle of supply and demand.
In one breath, the Biden administration argues we need to buy oil from Venezuela, OPEC, and potentially even Iran to lower prices. But in the next they argue that increasing American supply won’t lower prices.

Yeah…we also spotted the contradiction.
It’s part of the Biden administration’s bewildering argument that “no amount of domestic production” would make the U.S. energy independent – they seem to forget that the U.S. was energy independent a few years ago under Trump. As a result, they claim, Biden is powerless to do anything except beg foreign producers to produce more. These producers have stopped even talking his calls.
It’s nonsense on its face. The point of Biden’s policies was to drive up fossil fuel prices to force an energy “transition.” Administration officials have admitted it.
Biden doesn’t actually want energy prices to go down. For him, the pain at the pump is the point.
