Yesterday, Biden’s FDA Director Robert Califf testified that the agency notified the Biden White House about problems in the baby formula supply chain in February.
Biden did not mention the crisis until May. It’s more evidence of a concerning timeline showing months of foot-dragging and inaction. As a result, American mothers have been forced to wait on tarmacs for relief missions from other countries to feed their babies.
As noted by CNN’s Senior Medical Correspondent Elizabeth Cohen, “there were so many signs that happened many months ago even before that Abbott plant was closed down…why, when and more action wasn’t taken?”
