Bidenflation hurting the holiday

When many Americans think of Memorial Day, they think of beaches, cookouts, parades, pools, road trips, and the good company of friends and family.

But this year, many Americans can’t afford any of it. Bidenflation is costing the average family $569 per month, and is hiking the price of the holiday:

Food
- Beef is up 14.7%.
- Hot dogs are up 6.9%.
- Pie is up 13.3%.
- Beer is up 5%.
Gas/Hotels
- Gas prices are expected to hit $4.65 a gallon this weekend, up 51% from last year and 135% from Memorial Day weekend 2020.
- Airfare is up 6%.
- Midrange hotel rates are up 42%.

American families are feeling these prices:

70% say their summer travel plans have been impacted by historic gas prices – a 24% increase since last year.
38% say that “high inflation is leading to difficulty in planning summer trips.”
1 in 3 Americans say gas prices forced them to change or cancel Memorial Day plans.

With Bidenflation dampening pocketbooks heading into the summer season, Americans are ready to hold Biden accountable this November.
