"Bidenomics" No More?

Rapid Response

Has “Bidenomics” finally met its Waterloo?

In June, a top Biden spokesperson called it the “word of the day, word of the week, word of the month, [and] word of the year here at the White House.”

Today, Biden hasn’t used the term in more than a month and others are jumping ship — fast.

House Democrats are the latest to reject the “Bidenomics” brand, calling it “tone-deaf” and acknowledging voters don’t want it.

They follow a long (and growing) list of opposition to Biden’s namesake brand as Americans increasingly reject the idiotic policies. House Democrat leadership “stopped pushing the term months ago,” while rank-and-file Democrats openly criticize the brand. Biden, who name-dropped “Bidenomics” more than 100 times between June and October, hasn’t acknowledged it in more than a month. One Democrat strategist called it “the worst messaging you could ever imagine.”

It doesn’t take a genius to see why “Bidenomics” has failed. 78 percent of American voters rate the economy negatively, according to a new Fox News poll, and most believe the worst is not yet over. Nearly three-quarters of voters across seven key swing states say the economy is on the wrong track; just 35 percent of them trust Biden on the economy.

Meanwhile, Americans trust Republicans to keep the country prosperous by the widest margin since 1991.

Maybe telling voters not to believe their lying wallets wasn’t the best idea after all.
