Biden's absurd debt limit blame game

During his press conference yesterday, Biden insultingly insisted he would be “blameless” on the “merits” if the U.S. defaults.

So much for being a leader who actually takes responsibility.

That attitude is unacceptable from a president, but it’s even more absurd when you actually look at the “merits:”

Biden hypocritically refused to negotiate for 100 days, despite decades of backing negotiations around the debt limit and voting against clean debt ceiling increases.
House Republicans passed a responsible debt limit increase. Biden hasn’t. Senate Democrats haven’t.
Biden is now finally negotiating, but because of his obstruction, our country is up against the deadline.
What’s worse, Biden is caving to the far-left of his party, refusing commonsense proposals he has supported and applauded in the past and absurdly wanting to spend more this year than last.

That’s why over 60% of Americans want Biden to end his obstruction and work with Republicans to rein in his inflationary spending.

Bottom line: Republicans passed a plan to responsibly raise the debt limit and rein in wasteful spending. All Biden has done is obstruct. It’s clear that the blame, if it comes to that, lies squarely with Joe Biden and the Democrats.
