Like the groundhog on Groundhog Day, every Earth Day we have to suffer through another round of interviews with perhaps America’s most out-of-touch politician: John Kerry.
It does, however, serve as a reminder of just how radical Joe Biden is – after all, he appointed Kerry his Climate Czar. He even lets Kerry spew his far-left climate crazy from the White House podium.
So what does Biden endorse? Here’s a few lowlights:
On Energy
- Two days ago, Kerry said oil should not be “allowed to grow.”
- This week, Kerry targeted natural gas: “We have to put the industry on notice: You’ve got six years, eight years, no more than 10 years or so.”
- Kerry insisted that “by 2030 in the United States, we will NOT have coal plants.”
- Kerry: “We have to be phasing out coal plants five times faster.”
- Kerry said California does “incredible,” despite California’s high energy prices and inefficiency.
On The Economy
- Kerry: The destruction of jobs that are "going to happen now" is an "opportunity."
- Kerry told laid-off pipeline workers to "go to work to make solar panels."
- Kerry claimed, “you've gotta spend what you need to spend" to fight climate change. (hello inflation)
On Russia & China
- Kerry applauded Russia's Vladimir Putin as a "visionary" and "pretty rational" on the climate.
- Kerry said the administration isn’t focusing on the Uyghur genocide in China because "life is always full of tough choices."
- Kerry chuckled when asked about slave labor used to produce solar panels, insisting that’s “not my lane.”
- He refused to guarantee that Biden’s solar panel push would not rely on slave labor.
- Despite China being the world's biggest polluter, Kerry praised communist China's Xi Jinping on the climate.
The list goes on and on and on. Kerry would destroy your job while eating caviar on his private jet flying to Europe to hobnob with the elites. And this is who Biden names his climate wing man. That should concern every American.
