Biden's border crisis: Year 2

Rapid Response

Over 150,000 illegal immigrants have crossed the border every month for 12 straight months. That is already the worst border crisis in DHS history, and it is completely Unchecked and getting worse by the day.

Border Patrol expects to encounter 8,000 illegal immigrants per day this spring, and according to Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz, the U.S. will surpass one million encounters for FY2022 “in the next couple of days.”

That’s one million encounters in SIX MONTHS, more than most FULL fiscal years Border Patrol has data for:

During the past decade, an average of 225,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended at the border from October through March. Under Biden, the past six months has seen four times that number.

But what’s Biden’s reaction? To mass release tens of thousands of illegal immigrants into the U.S., divert border wall funding to “community consultations,” and to consider ending Title 42.

In other words, Biden sees that he created a massive border crisis and has decided to double down. Time to brace ourselves for year two of Biden’s border crisis, and unfortunately it’s set to be even worse than year one.
