200,000 illegal immigrants were encountered at the southern border in July – a 325% increase from the average July number under President Trump and the starkest indication yet that Biden’s border crisis is anything but under control.
Altogether since Biden took office, more than 4.2 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border – including 800,000 illegal immigrants who escaped into the country undetected.
It’s not just border communities reeling from Biden’s border crisis; illicit drugs continue to flow into the country at an alarming rate as border officials struggle to contain the smuggling. In fact, 2,071 pounds of deadly fentanyl and 12,989 pounds of methamphetamine were seized at the southern border in July alone – with much more getting through undetected.
It has been well over a year since Biden claimed “we’ve now gotten control” of his border crisis.
Much like everything else Biden says, that was a lie.
