Chris Magnus, Biden’s hand-picked head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is out of a job.
Just don’t expect anything to change; rank-and-file Border Patrol agents say they “have little confidence his replacement will be any better.” Why? Because “the core problem remains – Biden, Harris and Mayorkas.”
Of course, it’s easy to see why the Biden administration wants a scapegoat.
Since Biden took office, more than 4.7 million illegal immigrants have crossed the southern border — including a record 2.4 million in the last fiscal year — with another million escaping into the United States undetected. Illicit drugs continue to pour across the border at an alarming rate as officials struggle to contain the smuggling. And a record number of illegal immigrants have died crossing the border.
Biden’s recklessness is putting border communities at risk, but he doesn’t care.
To the Biden administration, Border Patrol are “the bad guys.”
