Biden's Bubble Wrapped Presidency

Making subtle, gradual adjustments to a candidate’s routine is par for the course in a major presidential campaign.

What is NOT normal is altering every facet of a candidate’s public appearances to limit his displays of cognitive decline.

Yet, that’s exactly where we are.

Crooked Joe Biden’s handlers have gone to extraordinary lengths to limit his public exposure — lest Biden make a fool of himself, as he often does.

• Biden is “scaling back” public speeches to limit his frequent, highly embarrassing incoherence.
• Biden is wearing new “lifestyle sneakers” to cut down on his penchant for tripping.
• Biden’s aides surround him across the White House lawn to shield his aimless shuffle.
• A Secret Service agent is now “positioned at the bottom” of Air Force One’s stairs — even the short stairs — to prevent potential missteps.
• Biden is limiting his “live TV interviews,” “campaign rallies,” and press conferences to avoid public displays of confusion.
• Biden is being “steered toward smaller, casual environments” instead of big speeches, where he often slurs incoherently as he struggles to read his giant teleprompter.

It’s not about age; it’s about cognitive decline — and Biden’s handlers know it. They’ve spent the better part of the past year telegraphing one “new strategy” after another as they throw everything at the wall and hope something sticks.

Of course, Biden’s handlers have enveloped him in a “protective bubble” since he took office (and even before he took office).

Now, however, is far more perilous for Biden as an overwhelming majority of Americans say he’s too weak, feeble, and demented for a second term.

And such is Biden’s problem — which a few slight changes to his routine aren’t going to fix.
