Biden's econ message: bankrupt lies

Joe Biden spewed the same old lies, lies, and more lies during his speech at the AFL–CIO today.

He claimed:

He solved food shortages.
- REALITY CHECK: Mothers are waiting in mile-long lines for baby formula as out-stock-rates pass 70% nationwide.
He lowered the deficit.
- REALITY CHECK: Even Biden’s favorite economics firm, Moody’s Analytics, says Biden’s actions have INCREASED deficits.
That people have “better paying jobs” and “more savings.”
- REALITY CHECK: Real wages are DOWN 3.0% from last year under Biden’s Great American Pay Cut, and the average American has $9,000 less in savings.
He worked to lower inflation.
- REALITY CHECK: Liberal economists like Larry Summers, Jason Furman, and Steven Rattner say Biden’s reckless spending FUELED inflation. Even his own Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen agreed.
He has nothing to do with rising gas prices.
- REALITY CHECK: This is the #BidenGasHike. His anti-energy policies cost Americans $1,000 in 2021. BEFORE Putin invaded Ukraine, gas prices were surging, U.S. oil production was down last year from where it was under Trump, and because of Biden’s policies, the U.S. was actually importing a record amount of Russian oil.

Biden’s new midterm economic message is a straight up lie, which does nothing to help struggling families pay the bills. Too bad for Biden, the American people see right through it.
