What a difference a year makes.

Last year, President Trump worked to fill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve because America was energy independent, while Democrats (including Kamala Harris) did everything they could to stop him.

Today, Biden is releasing 50 million barrels from the reserve after months of attacking U.S. energy, stripping away our energy independence, and begging OPEC to produce more.

Biden’s energy crumbs do not make up for his months of anti-energy policies. What’s worse, he’s doubling down on policies that are causing higher energy prices:

Heating costs are increasing by as much as 54% this winter, but now Biden wants to levy a home heating tax through his Build Back Broke plan.
Gas prices are at their highest points in almost a decade, but Press Secretary Jen Psaki lied, then doubled down on canceling Keystone XL and implied high prices were the point of Biden’s agenda.
Energy costs are surging, but Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm laughed and called price increases part of Biden’s energy “transition.”

If Biden truly wanted prices to go down, he would stop attacking American energy. But in reality, he doesn’t, because he helped fuel the price hikes in the first place.
