Joe Biden’s testing timeline keeps changing.
During the 2020 campaign, Biden promised the first thing he would do is get every American “access to regular, reliable, and free testing.” Instead, he repeatedly rejected proposals to order more tests when warned of a coming surge.
Then, 11 months into his presidency, Biden said tests would be available during the holidays. That did not happen.
During the holidays, Biden promised “rapid tests will start going out in the beginning of January.” That did not happen.
Now, Biden’s testing website is still not up, the contract to order more tests is not finalized, and the date for when tests will be available keeps getting pushed back.
Meanwhile, Americans keep waiting for more tests. It’s another promise made and another promise broken in Biden’s failure to “shut down the virus.”
