Biden's Five-Hour Work Week

Joe Biden is back into hiding.

Joe Biden has gone 31 of the past 47 days without taking a single question from the press.

He has not done an on-camera interview with an American press outlet since February 10.

After a weeklong vacation in South Carolina — where he stayed in a beachfront mansion, free of charge — Biden returned to the White House yesterday to sign a middle-class tax hike into law.

Five hours later, Biden was off on yet another vacation.

Such is the story of the Biden presidency:

• Biden has taken more vacations, weekends away, and trips to Camp David than President Trump or Barack Obama did in their first 18 months in office.
   
• Biden has gone 31 of the past 47 days without taking a single question from the press.
   
• Biden has done just three interviews with traditional press in 2022.
  • He has not done an on-camera interview with an American press outlet since February 10.
     
• Biden has held just 17 press conferences.
  • That's fewer than his past five predecessors at this point in his presidency.

We already knew Biden is the least transparent president in modern history, but this level of absenteeism begs the question: what — and why — is Biden hiding?
