Biden’s DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas lied.
The Biden administration was warned thousands of illegal immigrants were surging to our southern border – a surge exacerbating the already raging border crisis – and did NOTHING.
Shot: On September 20, Mayorkas said, “I don't think we expected the rapidity of the increase that occurred.”
Chaser: Today, NBC News reported, “the United States knew as early as July that thousands of Haitian migrants were headed to the U.S./Mexico border…This conflicts with messaging out of the White House.”
This is not the first time Mayorkas has lied to the American people. While he publicly claims the “border is closed,” he told border enforcement officials in August that he knew the border was close to “breaking.”
Officials expect another 400,000 illegal immigrants to be apprehended at the border just this month. The crisis Biden created is too serious to be handled by a liar as DHS secretary and an MIA border czar in Kamala Harris.
Enough lies and inaction from the Biden administration. We need to secure the border and end this crisis now.
