The Facts: According to new analysis by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) – an organization Biden once called “the gold standard” in economic estimates – the true cost of Biden’s Build Back Broke act is more than DOUBLE what Democrats advertised if you strip out their budget gimmicks. Without those gimmicks, CBO says the bill would “increase the deficit by $3.0 TRILLION over the 2022–2031 period.”
Newsflash for Biden: Adding $3.0 trillion to the debt is not “fully paid for.”
