This ridiculous scene from Biden’s White House event this afternoon screams “mission accomplished” on gas prices.
There are so many things wrong with this event, but to name a few:
- The nationwide average for gas is $4.41 per gallon, not $3.99 like the number on the left suggests.
- In fact, 44 states are paying more than $4.00 for a gallon of gas.
- Even $3.99 would be a high price for gas and nothing to celebrate.
- On November 10, 2021, Biden expressed absolute astonishment at the high price of $3.42 for a gallon of gas.
- Gas prices are over $2 more per gallon than when Biden took office.
- American families have already lost $1,500 due to increased energy costs since Biden took office.
This victory lap on gas prices could not be more out-of-touch. Biden and his team should be embarrassed.
