In September, Joe Biden triumphantly announced an end to the COVID-19 “emergency”; almost immediately, his advisors walked it back.
Now, one day after announcing the pandemic will end on May 11, 2023, Biden says the emergency won’t end until the Supreme Court steps in.

What changed in those three months? It certainly wasn’t the science.
Since taking office, the Biden administration has dutifully fought against virtually every effort to restore a sense of “normalcy” to society — keeping schools closed, forcing masks, and mandating vaccines. Biden is even still in court battling to reinstate forced masking on airplanes.
It’s no wonder Biden’s approval rating for his handling of the pandemic has been steadily decreasing for months.
Last November, the Senate passed a bipartisan bill ending the emergency, and House Republicans plan to vote on ending the emergency declaration later this week.
Americans are fed up — and Republicans are the only ones listening.
