Biden's plan: Default or fiscal ruin

After hiding for nearly 90 days, Joe Biden has finally set a meeting with Speaker Kevin McCarthy next week on the debt limit.

Reminder: House Republicans are the only body in Washington which has responsibly raised the debt limit. Senate Democrats haven’t. Biden hasn’t.

House Republicans have passed their plan because it makes sense. Democrats haven’t because it doesn’t:

  • What’s in the House Republican plan? Commonsense proposals to save taxpayers’ money that even Democrats say they support. Biden himself has supported and applauded many of the proposals.
  • What’s Biden’s plan? Threaten default and push for a destructive, inflationary agenda which will result in fiscal ruin.

Over the past two years, Biden has proven himself to be completely incompetent on the economy. His agenda has deprived millions of families of their financial dignity as costs skyrocket and real wages plummet.

The American people are clear: We need a change of course.
