Biden just wrapped up his brief, carefully orchestrated photo op in Brownsville.

The main takeaway? Biden couldn’t care less about the border crisis he created — or the tragic consequences that have resulted.

Biden spent just 19 minutes at the border itself (in an area currently seeing relatively few illegal crossings):

Biden shuffled along a desolate section of the border, with no illegal aliens in sight — and pre-written talking points in hand.
Biden expressed surprise at the amount of fentanyl flowing across his open border.
Biden joked to overwhelmed immigration officials that he “finally got [them] some overtime.”
Biden asked border officials pre-written questions, presumably prepared by his handlers.
Biden opened his remarks by talking about climate change.
Biden complained about the asylum process, which he dismantled by suspending President Trump’s successful “Remain in Mexico” policy.
Biden said “it’s time to act” on the border crisis after more than three years of damage from his open border policies.
Biden watched as impeached DHS Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas smeared Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for acting on border security amid Biden’s refusal.
Biden ignored questions on 22-year-old Laken Riley, who was brutally murdered by an illegal alien his administration welcomed in.

Then, he shuffled out as quickly as he came in.

Biden left the key question unanswered: why doesn’t he reverse the actions he took to dismantle border security in the first place? After all, he has all the authority he needs to secure the border and end the crisis right now.

He just doesn’t want to.
