Biden's Saturday of Stumbles

Rapid Response

Biden hasn’t held a campaign rally since he announced his candidacy for re-election in April — which makes sense when you consider his penchant for embarrassing himself in public.

This weekend’s official White House “pride” celebration was no exception:

  • “I see more courage on this lawn than any time I’ve seen in the recent past,” Biden told the audience — one day after speaking to hundreds of Army soldiers at Fort Liberty, NC, and a week after addressing thousands of U.S. Air Force Academy graduates. What about their courage?

  • Biden claimed “a person can be married in the morning and thrown out of a restaurant for being gay in the afternoon,” which is supported by zero evidence.

  • Biden told a story about seeing “two well-dressed men” kissing each other decades ago in Wilmington, Delaware, which he says he had “never seen before.” The story “doesn’t add up,” according to The Washington Post fact checker.

  • Biden said he was “proud to have ended the ban on transjester Americans” serving in the military.

  • Biden unveiled new funding to “help families support and affirm their kids” and “address the L-G-B-Q homelessness.”

  • Biden got distracted by a man running during his speech.

The media looks the other way when Biden makes such bizarre, outlandish claims — but the American people don’t.

There is a reason why 75% of independent voters do not want Biden to seek another term.
