As Michigan's governor, Democrat Jennifer Granholm wasted millions in taxpayer dollars on failing green energy companies…so Joe Biden made her Energy Secretary.
According to reporting from the Daily Caller: “Only 2.3 percent of the 434 projects funded by the Michigan Economic Growth Authority under Granholm’s watch were successful in meeting their projected job creation goals, according to the American Energy Alliance.”
Granholm’s record makes Solyndra look like child’s play. Among her astonishing failures: granting millions to a company that declared bankruptcy a few years later and is now a Chinese subsidiary, and providing millions in tax credits to a convicted embezzler.
And so as Biden visits Michigan today, it’s worth remembering that this is who Biden has placed in charge of his administration’s “investments” in green technology. Well…Granholm’s apparently in charge of everything except Biden’s event to promote Proterra, which she claims she had no involvement in even though she has millions invested in the company and Biden’s event fell directly under her portfolio.
But that’s Biden’s true energy agenda: obstruct American energy and waste taxpayer dollars on progressive pet projects, while members of his administration stand to make millions.
