His trip to Michigan was a total bust. Biden spent just 12 minutes at the UAW picket line, where he spoke for a whopping 87 seconds and took a few photos before meandering back to his motorcade.
Then it was right back to the airport, where Biden jetted off to California for a series of ritzy fundraisers with Hollywood liberals.
All told, Biden spent just over one hour in Michigan — bizarre behavior for a guy who calls himself the most “pro-union president” in history.
Of course, Biden’s obsession with electric vehicles — and the outsourcing to foreign countries that comes with it — is a chief reason workers are striking in the first place.
The reality is Biden doesn’t care about rank-and-file workers; he was just trying to get UAW’s endorsement.
Americans know pandering when they see it, and that’s exactly what Biden’s trip to Michigan was all about.
