President Trump and
Republicans’ Big, Beautiful Bill would represent the biggest
increase in funding to immigration enforcement in U.S. history.
The bill would provide:
- Funding to remove at least 1 million illegal
immigrants each year
- Nearly $80
billion for internal immigration enforcement, making ICE
the highest-funded law enforcement agency in the federal government
- $45
billion dollars for ICE detention of illegal immigrants
- $14.4
billion for ICE transportation & removal operations
- $67 billion
to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to secure our borders
- This
includes nearly $52 billion for border barriers
