Democrats continue to deliver… soaring prices and economic turmoil.
October’s Producer Price Index soared by eight percent over the past year, marking the 19th straight month where wholesale inflation has been above five percent. Stripping out food, energy, and trade costs, core producer prices rose by 5.4 percent from last year. Meanwhile, real average hourly earnings are down 2.8 percent since last year — the 19th month in a row under Biden in which inflation has outpaced wages.
Just don’t ask Raphael Warnock for help. Warnock has done everything in his power to exacerbate the inflation and supply chain crises roiling the American economy.
Warnock voted for Biden’s $1.9 trillion “stimulus” — the “original sin” of inflation — as well as billions in tax hikes on working-class Americans and trillions in other new spending. Warnock opposed additional tax cuts for working families, voted against a measure to curb fraud and abuse in pandemic-related spending programs, and even voted to preserve the “death tax.”
Warnock also supports Biden’s student loan debt bailout, which experts say will cost taxpayers billions and worsen inflation.
There’s a reason just 19 percent of Georgians say the country is on the right track. Raphael Warnock is part of the problem.
